About Me
Hi! I’m a philosopher working in social and political philosophy. My work primarily concerns the topics of freedom, labor, and capitalism. I approach these topics in part through an engagement with various historical figures, including Aristotle, Hegel, and especially Marx.
Currently, I am a Visiting Assistant Professor in the Philosophy Field Group at Pitzer College.
I recently received my Ph.D. from UCLA, with a dissertation entitled “‘Really Free Work’: Labor, Freedom, and Self-Realization in Aristotle, Hegel, and Marx.”
I am also a Care Fellow with the University of Iowa Care Lab.
My article, “Unalienated Labor as Cooperative Self-Determination: Aristotle and Marx,” is available online.
For a brief introduction to that article see my post at the New Work in Philosophy blog.
